Children’s Environmental Health Taskforce

The Children’s Environmental Health Taskforce is a state-based collaborative campaign being co-led by Healthy Schools Network and the Learning Disabilities Association of New York State to help meet the goals of the Alliance for a Toxic Free Future. The Children’s Environmental Health Taskforce unites a diverse group of organizations and individuals in New York State for the purpose of advocating statewide policy initiatives that will improve children’s environmental health through the elimination and reduction of toxic exposures and through the provision of environmental public health services dedicated to children. We offer a unique and powerful collaboration between health school advocates and the learning disability community to focus a broad array of environmental, health, children’s advocates, and educational organizations and individuals to focus on holding our state accountable to preventing illness and disability in children that likely originate with environmental causes.
